Over my 30+ years of experience as a clinical social worker in a hospital setting, I have developed a keen understanding of how to help people who are struggling with new medical diagnoses, medical trauma, anxiety, and life transitions including the fertility journey, birthing processes, and adjustments to parenthood. I empower my clients through a strengths-based approach, helping individuals and couples develop problem-solving strategies and coping capacities for the intricacies inherent in the cycles of life. I work with clients to sort through feelings of anxiety, fear, grief, and the full spectrum of emotions that accompany the journey and transitions throughout the many phases of one’s life. Finding meaning within one’s personal narrative allows for a new perspective and ultimately, healing and change.
